Step 3
To take a selfie, look directly into the camera and center your face, maintain eye contact with the camera, then to slowly turn your head to the left and then to the right.
Make sure that:
- your whole face is visible;
- you are the only person in the frame - no other people or objects resembling people should be captured;
- the photo on your ID and your selfie must match closely as they will be compared;
- the lighting is bright enough so that your face is visible, avoid excessive brightness or deep shadows;
- do not switch the apps or leave the verification screen until the process is complete.
Step 4
The verification can take up to a few minutes. Once it is done, you will be notified of the results on the same screen.
Close the screen if your verification was successful.
If the verifcation failed, please try again.
If your verification was rejected, you may see the following:
This issue may be due to the following:
- poor lighting makes ID difficult to read;
- the ID might not be fully visible;
- use the camera's focus feature to ensure the text is sharp and clear;
- make sure no objects or fingers are covering the text;
- use a high-resolution camera to capture detailed and clear images of the text.
