Communication with other users can be initiated through the chat function or mail function.
The mail function is ideal for longer messages. For example, a mail message could include an introduction of yourself or a description of your last vacation. You are able to attach up to 10 photos for free in each mail message.
Desktop version:
In order to send a mail you can open the user's profile and change the “Chat” window to “Mail”.
If the user is offline, you will only be able to send a mail as the chat option is only active for online users.
In case the user has already sent a letter to you, you can respond to your friend using the “Mailbox” tab, which is located in “Your activity” section on the right side of the page. You can find incoming messages in the “Inbox” tab. Here you can also filter your emails by Unread and Unanswered. The “Outbox” tab will show you your outgoing emails; in the “Trash” tab, you can find deleted correspondence. Emails that you haven't replied to within 24 hours also automatically go here. Under the “Drafts” tab, you can find drafts of your letters to users.
